IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A OLD REVERSE YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO REFINANCE IT AND GET ADDITIONAL FUNDS OR INCLUDE A SPOUSE THAT WAS REMOVED FROM TITLE!!!

If you currently have a Reverse Mortgage on your home, it might be possible to refinance your current debt with another Reverse Mortgage to take advantage of the increase in home values. There is a possibility that you might be able to receive additional funds

In order to prevent abuse, the Federal Government requires that some conditions are met, among others, to be able to do it:

  1. The value of your home must be considerably greater than the value when you got the original Reverse Mortgage.
  2. As a general rule, the net funds you could receive must be at least 5 times the closing costs paid for the new Reverse.
  3. There might be a partial credit for the “Mortgage Insurance Premium” paid on the original Mortgage.
  4. Financial and Credit assessment must be completed.
